Job Description Salary: Globaltech, Inc. is a design-build company of engineers and contractors that serves primarily municipal water and wastewater utilities. Our main office is located in Boca Raton, Florida. We are currently seeking dynamic, team-oriented individuals to play key roles in our growing South Florida firm. Globaltech, Inc. is seeking a Construction Superintendent to join our multidiscipline group of dedicated design-build professionals to round out our engineering service capabilities in the municipal water and wastewater facilities market.
Responsibilities:
Project Oversight & Field Supervision Supervise all on-site construction activities. Ensure work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and schedule. Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and craft labor to maintain smooth field operations. Safety & Compliance Enforce job site safety in compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations. Conduct daily safety meetings and inspections. Schedule safety training as needed for field crews to ensure full compliance and awareness of job-specific hazards. Quality Control Ensure adherence to QA/QC plans, specifications, and industry standards. Conduct inspections of installed work and coordinate third-party testing as needed. Address and resolve any deficiencies or non-conformance issues promptly. Scheduling & Planning Work closely with the project manager, construction project manager, and scheduler to maintain and update the construction schedule. Anticipate and address field issues to avoid delays or rework. Assist with project look-ahead planning (12 week plans) to support productivity and milestone tracking. Documentation & Reporting Maintain daily logs of site activities, labor, equipment, weather, deliveries, and issues. Track quantities and progress for billing and cost control purposes. Assist with RFIs, submittals, and change orders as needed from the field. Coordination with Engineers & Inspectors Participate in coordination meetings and assist with resolving design or constructability issues. Ensure that all required inspections are scheduled and passed. Equipment & Material Management Oversee material deliveries and storage, ensuring proper handling and usage. Coordinate equipment usage and ensure maintenance schedules are followed. Leadership & Team Management Direct and mentor field crews and foremen. Manage labor productivity and address workforce concerns. Foster a positive and accountable job site culture.
Min. Requirements
8+ years of supervising projects in the water or wastewater industry. 5+ years of experience as a supervisor Good communication and people skills. Computer proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel. Current in OSHA 30-hour, First Aid & CPR, History of successful completion of multiple projects. Valid driver license with a clean record Able to pass a background check and pre-employment drug test
