nEducation
nAssociate's degree Applied Science Req Or
nOther completion of accredited program in cardiovascular technology Must obtain RCIS within 6 months of hire Req Or
nH.S. Diploma or Equivalent 2 Years work experience in invasive cardiology Req
nExperience
n1 Year vascular or cardiac angiography Pref or
n2 Years required with high school diploma Req
nLicenses and Certifications
nARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire Req And
nGMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist If ARRT Only Upon Hire Pref Or
nRCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Obtain within 6 months if graduate from Cardiovascular Accredited Program Upon Hire Req And
nLMRT - Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist If RCIS Only Upon Hire Pref Or
nRCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist For Electrophysiology Labs (EP) Only Upon Hire Req And
nBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And
nACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req And
nCPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Req
