Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Schools - Superintendent of Schools NASB is facilitating a search for a Superintendent for Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Schools. S-E-M is located in rural Dawson County, with district boundaries also including parts of both Custer and Buffalo counties. The school is located in Sumner approximately 35 miles northwest of Kearney. Sumner is situated in the Platte River Valley, which contributes to its agricultural surroundings and close-knit atmosphere. S-E-M offers a wide variety of classes including college courses through Central Community College via distance learning. The current enrollment is 216 students. Students are able to participate in a number of extracurricular activities that are all strongly supported by the community.
