Nurse Practitioner/PA Job at Prism Pain Management in Englewood

Position Overview

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant who is committed to helping patients improve function and quality of life while managing acute and chronic pain conditions. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in pain management, physical medicine & rehabilitation, or a related specialty.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients with acute and chronic pain conditions

• Collaborate with physicians to develop and manage individualized treatment plans

• Prescribe and manage medications in accordance with evidence-based guidelines

• Perform and interpret pain-related assessments, including functional and quality-of-life measures

• Order and review diagnostic tests as clinically appropriate

• Document thoroughly and accurately in the EMR system

• Provide patient education on medications, interventional options, and lifestyle modifications

• Participate in a team-based approach to care with physicians, physician assistants, and medical assistants

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner/PA license in the State of Colorado

• Active DEA license or eligibility

• Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience in pain management, neurology, orthopedics, PM&R, or primary care with pain exposure

• Strong knowledge of pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic pain management therapies

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time position (flexible schedule; approximately 3 days a week)

• Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience
