Job Description
Our client is a leading provider of remote data collection solutions for measurement and SCADA systems. They are seeking a highly motivated developer to join their software engineering team. As part of this team, the right candidate will contribute to the design, development, enhancement, and support of products.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the software engineering team to design, develop, enhance, and support our products.
Utilize your strong programming skills to contribute to the development of our systems, with a focus on Windows (some Linux is good also).
Software design/software architecture design on platform products.
Apply your knowledge of object-oriented design principles to ensure high-quality code.
Work with SQL and relational databases to optimize data management and retrieval.
Leverage your experience with Windows and Linux systems to enhance our product offerings.
Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate ideas and collaborate with team members.
Work independently and as a team player, showcasing great interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Management Information Systems.
Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles.
3+ years in C++ programming language.
Experience developing in protocols
TCP/IP Socket based communication development experience.
IIoT/MQTT development experience.
Docker/Containerization/Cloud Native development experience.
Must be familiar with Linux (any Windows advantageous).
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
You may live in any of the following states: Texas, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, or New Mexico.
