Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative (CSR) to provide direct support as part of our Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) team. This role is based in-office, with occasional on-site responsibilities to assist with data collection, implementation, and customer support. The ideal candidate will combine strong organizational skills with excellent communication, ensuring smooth operations across customer accounts and internal teams.


Responsibilities of the Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to:

  • Process and manage customer orders accurately and efficiently. 
  • Generate and follow up on VMI-related quotes for customers and sales teams. 
  • Track incoming materials, provide timely updates, and coordinate with suppliers, logistics, and internal stakeholders. 
  • Assist with on-site activities as needed, such as data collection, product counts, or supporting VMI program implementations.
  • Provide responsive customer support, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. 

Qualifications of the Customer Service Representative include, but are not limited to:

  • Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, or inventory support (distribution or manufacturing industry experience preferred). 
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) 
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Detail-oriented with problem-solving abilities. 
  •  Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 
  • Willingness to occasionally assist with on-site tasks to support the VMI team. 
  •  Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment 
  • Able to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively 
  • Experience with Coupa and P21 or similar ERP system is a plus, but not required 

Additional Information:
  • Physical Demand: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Working Conditions: Professional office setting
  • Training/Certifications: Not required
  • Shift Time/Overtime: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Travel: Occasional travel may be required
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
