Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Desktop Support Technician to provide advanced technical support for end-users in a dynamic environment. This role involves both onsite and remote support, hardware upgrades, and system configuration, ensuring seamless operations across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support for Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments, including troubleshooting OS, application, and hardware issues.

Manage new user setups, device decommissioning, and hardware upgrades (e.g., swapping hard drives and RAM).

Deliver onsite and remote support using remote access tools such as Bomgar.

Resolve escalated ServiceNow tickets promptly and maintain accurate documentation.

Support and maintain HP and Lexmark printers, including troubleshooting and performing maintenance tasks.

Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth deployment of systems and adherence to company standards.

Assist with asset management, inventory tracking, and lifecycle management of IT equipment.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of desktop support experience in enterprise environments.

Strong expertise with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.

Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM ticketing systems.

Proficiency in hardware troubleshooting and upgrades (hard drives, RAM, peripherals).

Familiarity with remote support tools such as Bomgar.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Strong communication and customer service skills for end-user interaction.

Preferred Skills:

Experience supporting HP and Lexmark printers.

Knowledge of Active Directory and basic networking concepts.

IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
