As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day operations of one or several electrical construction projects and the successful management of a high performing team. You will manage the planning, execution, and financial performance of your projects using business practices that are consistent with our company values - people, safety, integrity, innovation and excellence. Bringing projects to completion within budget constraints and at or above customer expectations, you will build relationships to enhance future business development opportunities. Ideally, you will have at least five years of experience managing people and electrical construction projects. Comprehensive benefits packages available, including medical, dental, vision, life, and pet insurance, as well as, short and long-term disability plans, and 401k with company matching available Generous leave benefits, including paid parental leave, paid time off, and company holidays Technology package including laptop, software and more Bonus program eligibility Relocation Assistance Prepare project construction schedules Manage day-to-day activities of assigned projects Act as the main point-of-contact for project personnel Prepare look-ahead documents and weekly, monthly progress reports and billing information Report regularly to management team Prepare complete cost estimates (labor and material) for commercial & industrial projects within set deadlines Perform field take-offs/evaluations for estimate preparation Prepare bills of material and other information for use by purchasing Prepare complete labor and material cost estimates Schedule and attend field walk-downs with customers, subcontractors, and construction personnel to understand and determine constructability requirements Compare various project documents for accuracy and consistency Coordinate closely with project management Assist construction personnel throughout the project lifecycle in tracking and understanding basis of cost estimate Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a Company-designated office or field location Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards, if applicable 5+ years of Electrical Project Management or construction management experience, specifically in electrical systems. ~ Knowledgeable with specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time/cost/labor estimates for projects and services ~ C. and all relevant local codes ~ Able to read and understand civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, etc. plans and specifications to include blueprints, proposals and other documents as they relate to electrical work ~ Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office applications ~ Proficient with estimating software such as Accubid or equivalent ~ Ability to prepare construction schedules in Microsoft Project and/or Primavera ~
