Position Overview:

The Project Manager/Senior Project Manager oversees all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, profitability, and client satisfaction. This role involves managing approximately 4 projects simultaneously at various stages, representing Silverline Construction with professionalism, and fostering strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee all phases of construction projects, including estimating, scheduling, budgeting, and close-out processes.
  • Estimating & Budgeting: Prepare accurate estimates, budgets, and detailed scopes of work in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Contract Administration: Draft and manage owner contracts, subcontracts, change orders, purchase orders, and related documentation.
  • Project Coordination: Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinate with superintendents and subcontractors, and monitor daily job site progress to ensure on-time completion.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor job costs, prepare billings, and ensure projects meet profitability targets.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Review and approve submittals, generate and track RFIs, and prepare close-out documents (e.g., warranties, as-builts, operation manuals).
  • Subcontractor Management: Negotiate subcontracts, analyze bids, draft scopes of work, and conduct pre-bid job walks to address subcontractor inquiries.
  • Safety & Quality Control: Conduct on-site inspections, ensure compliance with safety standards, and review plans/specifications for cost-effectiveness.
  • Client & Team Leadership: Lead owner and subcontractor meetings, foster strong client relationships, and mentor Project Engineers.
  • Business Development: Promote new business opportunities and strengthen existing client relationships.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in construction management, with a strong focus on multi-family residential projects and conceptual estimating.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Sage, Autodesk, BIM, BlueBeam, Pro Est, AI tools) and excellent computer skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically with a focus on long-term project success.

  • Ability to work in all weather conditions, extended hours, and travel to remote job sites as needed.

Physical & Travel Requirements:

  • Ability to navigate construction sites during all project phases.
  • Willingness to work extended hours based on project needs or urgent circumstances.
  • Availability to travel to job sites, including those remote from Southern California

Salary Range: 100K-200k
