Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a growing CPA firm in Parsippany NJ, seeks a Staff Accountant. Once ramped up, this role will be a minimum of 3 to 4 days in the office. Summary: The Staff Tax Accountant will be responsible for preparing corporate, partnership & individual taxes. As a Staff Accountant, you will also perform audits, reviews, compilations & bookkeeping for clients in a variety of industries. This is a permanent position with positive growth potential for applicants who demonstrate excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

Requirements

• CPA, or CPA track preferred
• 1 to 3 years audit or tax experience in public accounting and the ability to work across a diverse client base
• Corporate & partnership tax preparing; Individual tax preparation is a plus (willing to train in tax)
• Proficiency in QuickBooks is a plus and MS Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must be well organized, detail oriented and able to meet deadlines
• UltraTax, PPC Checkpoint and Smart Practice Aids, and Workpapers CS program familiarity a plus
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
