We are seeking a professional and welcoming Receptionist & Switchboard Operator to support Boston Financial. This role is key to creating a warm first impression for visitors while ensuring the front desk runs smoothly. The ideal candidate will have customer-facing experience, preferably in a receptionist, hotel front desk, or similar position, and must excel in both in-person and phone interactions.
?? Location: 225 Franklin St, 28th Floor, Boston, MA 02110
?? Pay Rate: $20.50/hour
?? Dress Code: Business Casual
?? Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
?? Driving/Parking: No parking provided – public transportation strongly encouraged

Responsibilities
• Greet and assist visitors, providing exceptional customer service.
• Answer, screen, and transfer incoming calls from across the U.S. with professionalism.
• Receive and distribute packages.
• Organize and set up conference rooms.
• Restock coffee and maintain a welcoming office environment.
• Distribute visitor and temporary employee name badges.
• Schedule and coordinate meeting rooms.
• Maintain company phone lists, calendars, and automated messaging systems.
• Perform light administrative duties (mail, labels, compiling manuals, etc.).
• Support internal teams with PC support and administrative tasks as needed.
• Build professional relationships with colleagues, clients, and vendors.
• Participate in company and community service events.

Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of prior front desk, receptionist, or switchboard experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word & Excel required).
• Highly organized with excellent multitasking and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-traffic office environment.
• Team-oriented with flexibility to support other departments when needed.
