The Human Resources Generalist will be integral to supporting various HR initiatives and promoting a positive workplace culture. In this pivotal role, as a Human Resources Generalist you will be responsible for managing employee relations, conducting training sessions, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations. Additionally, the Human Resources Generalist will serve as a resource for employees and managers, addressing HR-related inquiries and fostering an inclusive work environment. The Human Resources Generalist will support the team in collaboration with operations for employee evaluation program, to include 60-day evaluations, annual performance evaluations, and peer reviews.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
- Develops site monthly HR metrics presentation
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Present New Hire Orientation for new employees in partnership with Talent Acquisition
- Collaborate with Operations to gain insights into business requirements and discover ways to enhance support
- Address and resolve employee relations matters, including conducting thorough investigations
- Support the implementation and development of HR policies and procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a Generalist role
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations (FMLA, ADA, etc.)
- Experience conducting investigations and anything related to Employee Relations
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in HRIS applications and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
