Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director, Human Resources, to drive key initiatives that support organizational growth, employee engagement, and talent development. This role will report to the VP, Human Resources.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the company’s goals and values. Act as a trusted advisor to senior management on organizational structure, workforce planning, and change management.
  • Talent Management: Lead the recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for top talent. Oversee performance management, succession planning, and career development programs.
  • Employee Relations & Engagement: Foster a positive employee experience by promoting open communication and a culture of feedback. Manage complex employee relations issues and investigations with professionalism and discretion.
  • HR Operations & Compliance: Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date, legally compliant, and effectively communicated. Oversee compensation and benefits administration, in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HR professionals to support their growth and effectiveness. Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the HR team.

What You Bring To The Team

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in managing organizational transformation, employee relations, talent development, and change management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work strategically and operationally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in a multi-site or global organization.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and data analytics.
  • HR certifications such as SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or equivalent preferred

Where You’ll Work And What’s Required

  • This role is based out of our New York, NY office location
  • Occasional travel for meetings and/or events may be required

  • Salary: The salary range for this position is $185,000 - $210,000 which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation.
