Overview
The Manager, Human Resources will be responsible for helping to manage the day-to-day Talent function and drive programs and initiatives for employees across several locations. Not only will you work in lock step with our internal partners; but you will also work with the broader Talent Team on initiatives to cultivate our unique culture and people practices. We foster a community of Talent made up of trusted advisors to our clients and one another, trail blazers with innovative thinking, makers adept at crafting insightful work, connectors who love collaboration, and experts who contribute to the support and advancement of our business.
This role reports into our Vice President, Talent and isbased in our New York office. This role will require a hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities
Onboarding, Transfers and Offboarding
- Ensure all onboarding plans for new hires have a smooth entry to business unit and broader network
- Support positive employee engagement and faster onboarding to the organization
- Manage employee status changes (terms, transfers, new hires, etc.) then communicate with appropriate teams/colleagues to ensure necessary paperwork/process is completed
- Manage employee exit process to inform and shape recommendations for programs to drive retention and engagement
Benefits
- Address employee benefit questions
- Provide exceptional service to internal employees, efficiently and effectively answering their questions, providing them with accurate information
Employee Relations
- Work with the Vice President in creating programs that enhance a high-performance culture creating inclusiveness
- Support with coaching and mediation for entry level to mid-manager level
- Support managers in employee development and engagement
Policies & Compliance
- Support the implementation of new Human Resources policies, processes and procedures as well as providing support in the development of Human Resources initiatives
- Ensurecompliance with local employment laws and regulations
- Adhoc projects as assigned
Qualifications
- 3 + experience in Human Resources or similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work at all levels of the organization
- Enjoy connecting with others, listen with empathy, and have solid verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-orientated and highly motivated, self-starter, able to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Highly motivated team player with strong organizational skills
- Enjoys engaging in a collaborative work environment
- Great problem-solving skills
- Inherent understanding of the confidential nature of HR information
- Knowledge of general HR practices, policies and pertinent legislation governing employment relations
- A passion for or experience in one of the following areas: Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Talent Development; Company Culture; Project Management
- Willingness to go that extra mile to deliver high quality output
- Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Compensation Range: $73,910 - $116,380 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
