Description:

• Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization to provide technical solutions that meet user needs. Possesses expertise in the supported business units and an understanding of the IT systems and capabilities.
• Analyzes business operations to identify strengths and weaknesses, and determines opportunities for process automation.
• Assists in redesigning and documenting business processes for new technology implementations. Translates high-level business requirements into functional specifications for IT and manages changes accordingly. Educates IT on business direction.
• Facilitates communication between business units and IT to negotiate agreements and commitments from initial requirements to final implementation. Uses knowledge of technological trends to propose solutions that enhance the enterprise's competitive edge.
• Makes recommendations regarding buy versus build decisions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Typically 1 to 3 years of relevant technical or business experience.
