Job Summary:
The Remote Customer Care Agents will support the department by handling inbound calls for users. Agents will assist customers with government benefit-related inquiries such as child support, unemployment, food stamps, and social security, which are posted onto debit cards. Support includes ordering new cards, reviewing and disputing transactions, and handling account-related inquiries. Call volume is steady, with higher activity during the first half of the month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to inquiries via inbound calls and written correspondence
  • Answer questions regarding payment postings, disbursements, account histories, and card issues
  • Provide accurate and timely information to customers
  • Maintain updated records and logs
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service (call center experience preferred)
  • Strong PC skills with ability to pass a PC Knowledge Test
  • Proficiency navigating Internet Explorer, Chrome, Microsoft Suite, and multiple customer service tools simultaneously
  • Data entry experience (alpha and numeric) or 10-key calculator proficiency with low error ratio
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage stressful situations with professionalism and quality service
