THE ROLE Virtu is looking for a skilled Storage Engineer to join our Systems team. Youll work with some of the most complex workloads in the financial services industry and play a key role in shaping our storage solutions. As a member of the team you will take a lead role in: Designing, installing, and standardizing storage solutions across AMER/EMEA/APAC regions Assessing project scope and IT risks to develop mitigation plans Optimizing, tuning, and troubleshooting storage systems to address common issues Driving innovation and improvements in storage service delivery Developing secure practices for compute, storage, and systems administration Virtu offers a dynamic, meritocratic environment with a flat hierarchy. THE CANDIDATE 7+ years of experience managing large-scale storage solutions in fast-paced environments. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet SLAs. Collaborative and results-driven with a focus on the best tools for the job. Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Technical Skills: Experience with NetApp FAS, AFF, ASA in production environments Familiarity with other storage systems like Hitachi, HPE, EMC, PURE, ExaGRID Proficient with NetApp cDOT, Systems Manager, AIQUM, and ONTAP CLI Expertise in storage protocols like NFS, SMB, FC, FCoE, S3, iSCSI for NAS/SAN Experience with controller/disk upgrades, SAN fabric design, and disaster recovery Knowledge of client operating systems (Linux, Windows, VMware) and their storage interactions Scripting skills in Python, Bash, PowerShell for REST API interactions DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, a related field, or equivalent experience Experience with Cisco MDS and Brocade SAN fabrics Experience with data replication, backups, and service migrations Salary Range: $150,000 - $200,000 (salary range is exclusive of bonuses, benefits or other categories of compensation) Virtu Financial is an equal opportunity employer, committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, welcoming you for who you are and does not discriminate on the basis of race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or other legally protected status. #J-18808-Ljbffr
