GENERAL FUNCTION The Associate Optometrist is a leader in the organization, delivering the brand promise, experience, and key results through collaboration and teamwork. Ensures all patients receive the highest quality optometric care by performing clinical protocols, maximizing results, and practicing growth through strong partnerships with the MOD, SMM, and team. The Associate Optometrist serves as a brand ambassador, driven by passion and high standards to consistently go above and beyond.

MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure executional excellence and successful results in partnership with the MOD and store team.

Demonstrate commitment to exceeding results through KPI management and high accountability.

Promote the brand as the leading optical provider within the community.

Act as a successful stakeholder with all organizational leaders and local market.

Prioritize patient/customer needs and deliver excellent service.

Strive to exceed all KPIs.

Provide unsurpassed patient service by addressing visual lifestyle needs, making eyewear recommendations, explaining eye exams, utilizing tools and visual aids, and ensuring patients understand their vision and health.

Ensure accurate diagnosis and appropriate recommendations for all patients.

Build positive doctor-patient relationships.

Leverage technology to enhance patient experiences.

Maintain office systems and state licensure in good standing, including ongoing education.

Provide training and guidance to team members using company programs.

Offer constructive feedback and foster a positive, motivating culture.

Encourage decision-making at the closest level to the patient.

Build partnerships through leadership and involvement.

Ensure the office appearance is professional and welcoming.

Maintain a safe working environment for all.

Lead by example.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Doctor of Optometry degree.

Commitment to quality patient care.

Knowledge of current optometric theories and technology.

Strong communication and listening skills.

Problem-solving abilities.

Organizational skills.
