How will you fight for an AIDS-free generation?

You will be a part of a team that raises vital unrestricted funds to advance EGPAF’s mission to end AIDS in children and to ensure every child has a full and healthy life. This role provides critical support for EGPAF’s Development team, through a diverse set of responsibilities to drive donor engagement and strengthen fundraising.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Institutional fundraising, with a focus on peer-to-peer fundraising (40%)

Support EGPAF’s Development team to grow unrestricted funding in support of our mission to end AIDS in children.

Serve as primary contact for collegiate and community partners which operate peer-to-peer fundraising programs. Coordinate internal and external requests for materials, speakers, training and support resources to ensure the peer-to-peer programs are executed effectively and the partnership objectives are being met.

Serve as EGPAF representative at events and conferences for fundraising, including occasional travel. Manage a booth and develop or make presentations at events as requested.

Manage EGPAF’s role as beneficiary of collegiate Dance Marathon events, specifically focusing on participant cultivation, peer-to-peer fundraising, and campus retention. Assist students in executing efficient philanthropy events and maximizing fundraising potential of respective communities.

Manage EGPAF activities related to our philanthropic partnership with sorority Alpha Epsilon Phi. Maintain and grow relationship with organization headquarters staff and alumni volunteer advisors. Implement communications and stewardship plans to support nearly fifty campus chapters of this sorority partner.

Develop a prospecting strategy to acquire new peer-to-peer fundraising partners for EGPAF, both through existing institutional EGPAF partnerships and through cultivation of new partnerships.

In coordination with Development team members, support DIY fundraising initiatives by individual and corporate partners.

Systems Support, Administration, and Reporting for the Development team (60%)

Develop and maintain regular performance reporting and revenue analysis for EGPAF’s unrestricted fundraising efforts.

Oversee, review, and approve gift entry and donor acknowledgement.

Manage gift reconciliation reporting.

Support EGPAF efforts to communicate our impact with our fundraising partners.

Manage state registration filings related to EGPAF’s non-profit status.

Serve as EGPAF’s Salesforce administrator, troubleshooting system syncs and implementing system improvements (database management).

Donor research for prospecting new sources of unrestricted funding for EGPAF.

Support for EGPAF fundraising applications to donors, including application preparation and entry, application formatting, and copy-editing.

Manage, troubleshoot, and oversee the

Funraising

platform plug-in to our Salesforce database, which supports EGPAF's peer-to-peer fundraising activities.

Calendar planning and event support

Support for mailing list development for our direct mail fundraising program.

Support branded and community events.

Qualifications: Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree

2-4 years of relevant experience in nonprofit fundraising, development operations, or donor relations management

Strong data management and reporting skills

Experience with Salesforce CRM and peer-to-peer fundraising platforms

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Strong communication skills (written and verbal), including comfort level in presenting to external audiences

Additional Information

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this position is $48,848.00 USD (minimum) to $61,060.00 USD (midpoint) annually in the Washington, DC Metro area. For US-based remote staff, EGPAF uses geographical ranges that are based on the candidate’s location and the associated cost of labor. Actual base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as qualifications, experience and training, education and certifications, internal equity, external market data, and budget.

Compensation: $48,848-$48,848 per year
