If you're a
Mechanical Designer , we have an exciting opportunity for you! This role encompasses responsibilities for both advanced-level drafters and entry-to-intermediate-level designers. As a drafter, the individual works independently or with minimal supervision, completing drafting assignments and tasks for various departments or internal customer groups. As a designer, the individual operates under direct supervision at the entry level or with some latitude and minimal supervision at the intermediate level. Responsibilities include performing diverse design application tasks, often within a New Product Introduction (NPI) environment, where creative mechanization of design concepts is transformed into new products, tooling, or equipment. What you will be doing... GD&T Proficiency: Intermediate ability to understand and apply Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (or international equivalent).
Design Skills: Capable of creating 3D models for simpler designs and complex 2D drawings adhering to drafting standards, with experience in entry-level linear stackup studies.
Manufacturing Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing and assembly processes, ensuring practical and effective design integration.
Technical Tools: Proficient in CAD software, basic computer applications (Outlook, Word, Excel), ERP systems, and general office equipment.
Interactive Illustrations: May create interactive illustrations for online manuals, enhancing documentation usability.
Commitment to Quality: Demonstrates professionalism and quality focus, with potential green belt designation for drafting-related improvements.
Communication & Collaboration: Strong written and verbal communication skills, including for non-native English speakers, and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Organizational Skills: Ability to process multiple types of information, prioritize tasks, and manage workloads efficiently, including assisting other drafters.
Problem-Solving: Strong ability to diagnose and resolve drafting and design issues while making timely decisions.
What we are looking for... Level 2: MCAD drafting experience, general machining, fabrication, and manufacturing knowledge
NPI (New Product Introduction) experience
Level 3: Education: US - Associate's Degree

Designer experience or combination of Bachelors degree or International equivalent and experience
