About the role: We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Staff People Systems Analyst to drive our people systems roadmap and execution. This role focuses on thought leadership, system configuration, process automation, enhancing self-service capabilities, systems integrations, and AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR processes, strong technical aptitude, and a proven track record of implementing and optimizing HR/people systems. You are a proactive self-starter who can independently drive work forward without needing explicit direction. What You’ll Do
System Strategy & Thought Leadership: Partner with leadership to develop a forward-thinking vision for HR/people systems architecture, align with business objectives, stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, and provide strategic guidance on system enhancements, new modules, and roadmaps. Core System Configuration & Optimization: Lead configuration, testing, and deployment of new functionalities and modules (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, CultureAmp, Pave). Ensure configurations meet technical requirements and comply with security and privacy regulations; conduct regular audits and health checks to optimize performance and user experience. Process Automation & Integration: Design, develop, and implement automated solutions across HR systems using integration tools and APIs; collaborate with IT and HR to define integration strategies. Self-Service Platform Enhancement: Improve employee and manager self-service capabilities by optimizing features, navigation, workflows, and analytics to drive adoption and reduce administrative burden. AI-Driven System Capabilities: Explore, evaluate, and implement AI-driven solutions within or integrated with HR systems; collaborate with data science and IT on deployment, ensuring scalability, data privacy, and ethical considerations. Cross-Functional System Collaboration: Partner with HR, IT, finance, and other stakeholders; manage vendor relationships and lead/participate in project teams focused on HR technology initiatives. What You Bring
8+ years of progressive experience in HR technology with a strong techno-functional focus. Expertise in configuring and optimizing a major HR/People Systems platform (e.g., Workday, Greenhouse, CultureAmp, etc.). Certification in relevant systems is a plus. Proven experience in process automation and workflow design within HR systems. Demonstrated ability to drive self-service initiatives and improve user experience. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences. Self-starter with a proactive approach to driving work independently and identifying opportunities for improvement.
