Volunteer Opportunity The Cupcake Girls is always seeking committed, passionate individuals (18+) to join our Las Vegas team. We offer a wide variety of volunteer positions to match diverse interests. Team members are asked to commit to five hours per month of volunteering (Advocates commit to five hours per week). We have both in-person and remote teams. During orientation, volunteers will choose the specific team they would like to join. If you choose an in-person role, please ensure you are located in Las Vegas, NV, or able to travel. If you would like to join the Advocate team, please note volunteers will need to complete a $17 background check (assistance is available if needed). Team Descriptions Operations Networking (In-Person Only) - Engage with the community, represent The Cupcake Girls at events, help recruit volunteers, and assist with tabling.

Partner Engagement (Remote with Optional In-Person Quarterly) - Build and maintain relationships with our Partners who provide pro bono or discounted services, goods, and support to our Participants.

Events (In-Person Only) - Assist with planning and executing various events throughout the year.

Office Support (In-Person Only) - Manage office tasks, including ordering and organizing supplies, cleaning, sourcing donated goods for raffles and gifts, and sending donation letters.

Volunteer Care (Remote or In-Person) - Support volunteers through onboarding, event organization, and celebrating milestones like birthdays and anniversaries.

Hospitality (In-Person Only) - Bake cupcakes, assist with catering for events, and occasionally help with cupcake deliveries.

Programs Advocate and Outreach team members must first serve on the Resource Team for 30 days before applying. Participant Outreach (In-Person Only) - Commit to volunteering on a set schedule each month, visiting local clubs in Portland, assisting with hair and makeup, engaging with performers, and distributing flyers.

Participant Advocacy (Remote or In-Person) - Dedicate at least five hours per month to working one-on-one with Participants, helping them set and achieve goals while connecting them with community partners.

Resource Team (Remote) - Maintain and update community partner and resource listings in our online system. This is an administrative, remote-based role.

About The Cupcake Girls The Cupcake Girls provides nonjudgmental and confidential support through respect, resources and relationships to those in all realms of the adult entertainment industry, including sex workers and those affected by sex trafficking. Through direct care and community resources, we partner with these individuals and empower them in their pursuits. In order to best serve the varied needs of the adult entertainers we support, The Cupcake Girls offers a range of both in-house services that we feel we are uniquely able to provide, as well as referrals to external care providers when we've identified existing professionals and organizations that meet our high standards and have proven themselves trustworthy working with the adult entertainment community. We partner with our Participants to build comprehensive, holistic plans to help them pursue their goals and objectives, working to ensure that we're matching the right solutions to the right individual at the right time.
