To diligently analyze complex workers' compensation claims and determine due benefits while managing high-exposure cases involving litigation and rehabilitation. Adjudicate claims in line with service expectations, industry best practices, and specific client requirements, while identifying the potential for subrogation and negotiating effective settlements. Essential Responsibilities: Analyze and process complex workers' compensation claims, conducting thorough investigations to accurately assess exposure; develop action plans for timely resolutions. Negotiate settlements within designated authority. Calculate and assign appropriate reserves to claims; ensure their adequacy throughout the claim's duration. Calculate, approve, and dispense timely benefits due; manage claim settlements within authority levels. Prepare necessary state filings within statutory limits. Oversee the litigation process to guarantee timely, cost-effective resolution of claims. Coordinate vendor referrals for further investigation and litigation management. Implement cost containment strategies to minimize overall claim costs for clients. Manage claim recoveries, including subrogation and Social Security offsets. Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to inquiries professionally and promptly. Maintain transparent communication regarding claim status with claimants and clients, fostering professional relationships. Ensure all claim files are accurately documented with correct coding. Refer cases to supervisors and management as necessary. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Licensing: Education:

Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification applicable to the line of business is also preferred. Experience:
