Encourage Salvation Army Housing Program Residents with a Greeting Card The Salvation Army North & Central Illinois Division invites volunteers to support Housing Program residents by sending greeting cards. What you will do
Wash hands with soap and warm water while singing your favorite song. Gather materials: greeting cards (or paper), writing utensils, decorations, envelopes, stamps. Write encouraging messages to residents in Salvation Army housing programs. Address envelopes and mail or deliver cards to participating sites. Locations and contact
Senior Housing – The Salvation Army Booth Manor Senior Residences, 1500 W. Madison St, Chicago, IL 60607. Cards can be mailed or delivered Mon–Fri 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Call Natesha Newton at 312-243-7000 or 773-960-2643 to arrange drop-off. Homeless Shelter – Evangeline Booth Lodge, 800 W Lawrence Avenue, Chicago, IL 60640. Cards can be mailed or delivered Mon–Fri 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Call Martha Washington at 773-433-5720 to arrange drop-off at the front desk. Questions?
