Overview
PORTFOLIO MANAGER Manage City National Rochdale client assets. Develop investment strategies and make investment decisions, to achieve clients' investment goals. Responsibilities
Relationship Management – Expand and deepen relationships with financial advisors and clients; act as a leadership resource for advisors and keep them informed of firm and industry developments; ensure smooth transition from sales to portfolio management; manage advisor and client communication as the central point of the relationship; prepare client presentations; communicate with advisors to ensure investment solutions meet needs and expectations; conduct individual meetings and presentations. Account and Portfolio Management – Manage an assigned group of investment portfolios; advise clients and advisors on strategies to achieve investment goals; structure portfolios and rebalance asset allocation within client risk tolerance; handle trade implementations, cash flow, reinvestment and liquidity; review assets to ensure alignment with client intent and strategies; attend client meetings. Business Development – Work with advisors to acquire new business and grow assets from existing clients. Investment Strategy/Trading and Research – Demonstrate expert knowledge of internal and external investment solutions; communicate strategic shifts to clients, advisors, and internal colleagues; analyze alternative investment and risk scenarios (relative value, overall return, asset class interactions, and market comparisons). Risk Management and Compliance – Follow Regulation 9 processes; accurately complete compliance reporting; maintain training and continuing education requirements for internal programs and external licenses and certifications. Required Qualifications
CFA - Chartered Financial Analyst Master's Degree A minimum of 10 years of investment management experience FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses (or ability to obtain) Compensation & Benefits
Compensation
Starting base salary: $122,548 - $208,711 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
