Job Summary

We"re seeking an experienced

Staff Data Center Solutions Architect

to pioneer the design, optimization, and deployment of next-generation data center rack ecosystems. In this leadership role, you’ll architect end-to-end rack solutions that integrate cutting-edge compute, cooling, and power technologies—transforming how high-density infrastructure scales. If you thrive on solving complex integration challenges and defining industry best practices, this is your opportunity to shape the future of modular data centers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Lead Strategic Integration: Architect and oversee the selection, qualification, and harmonization of rack components (servers, liquid-cooling systems, CDUs, heat exchangers, switches, and PDUs), ensuring peak performance and reliability.

Advanced Thermal & Power Design: Spearhead the engineering of high-power liquid-cooling architectures (including manifolds and distribution systems) to maximize thermal efficiency in ultra-dense environments.

Validation & Optimization: Develop rigorous testing frameworks for rack-level solutions, conducting hands-on validation of performance, redundancy, and failover capabilities.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, and software teams to drive innovation in rack-level automation, telemetry, and management systems.

Lifecycle Ownership: Create and maintain comprehensive integration standards—from prototyping to production—including documentation, troubleshooting guides, and scalability blueprints.

Mentorship & Standards: Guide junior engineers and establish best practices for rack integration, staying ahead of emerging technologies (e.g., AI-driven cooling, edge deployments).

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s/Master’s in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).

Experience:

12+ years in data center infrastructure, with proven expertise in:

End-to-end rack integration (compute, cooling, networking, power).

Liquid-cooling systems (CDUs, heat exchangers, cold plates).

ToR switch configuration/optimization (Cisco, Arista, Juniper, or white-box solutions).

Lab-based rack assembly, stress testing, and troubleshooting.

Fluency in thermal dynamics, power efficiency metrics (PUE), and high-voltage safety.

Leadership Traits:

Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and mentor teams.

Strategic mindset for anticipating industry shifts (e.g., sustainability mandates, AI workloads).

Inventor’s spirit—you solve problems others deem impossible.

Salary $150,000 - $180,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
