In treasury risk management at PwC, you will focus on assessing and mitigating financial risks for clients, assisting in effective cash management and liquidity, and optimising capital allocation strategies. You will provide advice in risk analysis, hedging strategies, and regulatory compliance to help clients navigate the complexities of treasury operations. As a strategic advisor, you will leverage your influence, expertise, and network to deliver quality results. You will motivate and coach others, solve complex problems, and apply sound judgment with the ability to escalate as needed. Your ability to develop and sustain high performing, diverse, and inclusive teams contributes to the success of our Firm.

Responsibilities

Advise financial institutions on a broad range of credit risk management topics including organization and governance; credit process optimization; risk rating model design, build and implementation; credit regulatory assessments; and CECL process and tools.

Assess, design, and implement credit risk strategies to help clients address key market challenges.

Lead and contribute to risk management projects, including process redesign, governance improvements, and reporting analytics.

Develop and apply credit risk methodologies (PD, LGD, EAD) and associated reporting and analytics.

Evaluate compliance with CECL, IFRS 9, and related regulatory guidance; leverage tools and technology to enhance risk management capabilities.

Coordinate with on-shore and off-shore teams; communicate project goals, status, and deliverables; build consensus with stakeholders.

Qualifications

Minimum Degree Required:

Bachelor Degree

Preferred Qualifications:

Master Degree

Preferred Fields Of Study:

Business Administration/Management, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Economics, Accounting

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates extensive-level abilities in leading or facilitating credit-related activities and credit risk management, including:

Credit process redesign and optimization; underwriting and risk rating; policies and procedures; 1st/2nd line of defense.

Credit risk methodologies (PD, LGD, EAD) and related pricing models; credit risk reporting and analytics.

Experience with credit workflow tools and reporting technologies; knowledge of CECL and IFRS 9;

Formal credit training program completion.

Additional Abilities:

Project management, client communications, leadership of diverse teams, and ability to manage cross-cultural and offshore/onshore collaboration.
