Electrical Engineer, Project Kuiper OISL – Amazon Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, with a system designed to serve a wide range of customers, from individuals to organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity. Responsibilities
Conceptualize, design, develop, and improve production processes (assembly, integration, test processes) through collaboration with a team of manufacturing engineers and other functions. Serve as the primary technical interface to the development team for an OISL sub-assembly, acting as the lead technical voice from the factory in design reviews, key technical escalations, and new product development activities. Support operations by applying strong problem-solving skills to converge multiple technical perspectives during high-pressure escalations (e.g., quality containments). Partner with development teams on the design of future iterations of the OISL Assembly and associated production test systems and tooling. Address complex manufacturing challenges to balance production velocity, exceptional quality, and cost-competitive concepts while ensuring smooth execution of current production operations. Drive manufacturing capacity growth through vision and execution of capital investments for production scaling and automation. Coordinate with design, factory operations, quality engineering, and program management to drive manufacturing processes from initial production introduction to full-rate production. Export Control

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $105,600/year to $185,000/year, depending on location and experience.
