Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS) is a world leader in the research, design, and manufacturing of focal plane arrays and flight-based vision systems supporting defense, surveillance, space, and weather tracking applications. This is an immediate opportunity for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Goleta, California. The candidate will be responsible for oversight and assembly of Focal Plane Modules from design implementation to shipment. Provide engineering support for the manufacturing factory, interpret engineering drawings and specifications into build plans, create schedules, and oversee nonrecurring and recurring tasks to support program builds. Create and maintain Bill of Materials, generate planning documents, manage process and tooling activities, review and disposition discrepant material, manage budgets, interface with manufacturing personnel, and lead problem solving efforts and corrective actions.
