What You Will Do
Northmarq is seeking a
Senior Regional Marketing Manager
located in any of Northmarq’s major markets. This leader oversees a team of regional marketing managers across the U.S. who develop marketing plans for designated Northmarq local (regional) Debt + Equity offices. As a key member of the Marketing & Communications Extended Leadership Team, this individual collaborates with the Corporate Marketing & Communications team, business line leadership and operations, and corporate teams to build marketing programs and brand strategies serving the needs of producers and local markets. In addition to providing Regional Marketing Team leadership, the Regional Marketing Lead is assigned regional marketing responsibilities in a designated region, acting as a working manager. This role works closely with the offices to plan and execute marketing activities to generate leads, nurture and convert prospects in the pipeline, and retain existing clients. It requires up to 20% domestic travel. The candidate will support the marketing needs of the Debt + Equity business, build regional marketing programs, develop tracking and reporting to measure team impact and effectiveness, provide performance management and coaching, and orchestrate programs for multiple offices. Key competencies include a collaborative and client-focused approach, the ability to build relationships across the organization, experience leading teams to build high-performing functions, proven results delivering marketing plans for distributed sales channels, strong project management, graphic design experience, and innovation in digital and email marketing. How You Will Make a Difference Manage a team of Regional Marketing Managers to build and measure effective marketing strategies in partnership with business line leaders, producers, and local offices. Plan, produce, and execute regional and local marketing plans that align with division strategies and regional goals. Translate national marketing initiatives into regionally/locally relevant programs in collaboration with the marketing and communications team. Develop, write, and design engaging content for local markets and producers, leveraging thought leadership, research, and PR from internal partners. Develop campaigns, collateral, and programs using content and product/service offerings, including email campaigns, web strategies, thought leadership, research, advertising, and special reports. Deliver marketing plans aligned to D+E business goals and tactics supporting client acquisition, nurturing, and retention. Collaborate with marketing, operations, and internal stakeholders to develop product positioning, messaging, and campaign strategies targeting clients. Define client insights and campaign analytics to optimize effectiveness. Study competitor practices and market insights to drive successful programs and test innovative tactics. Coordinate development of campaigns, local events, collateral, pitchbooks, workshops, online events, and digital content. Drive full-funnel marketing programs from lead generation to nurturing and retention. What You Bring A bachelor’s degree in marketing or communication. 5+ years of direct managerial experience managing others. Proven experience overseeing teams and projects to deliver consultative client service with measurable results. 7+ years of experience developing content, campaigns, and strategies to support sales channels. Experience measuring and reporting team output and adjusting strategies to optimize results. Strong marketing planning and execution experience including graphic design and ability to deliver campaigns using marketing technology platforms. Exceptional writing and editing skills with a track record of turning complex information into compelling stories and client engagement strategies. Experience building marketing strategies through collaboration with internal partners. Strong skills in campaign management and deployment with CRM and marketing automation platforms. Experience defining and using insights and analytics to drive decisions. Experience with Salesforce CRM, MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Asana or similar collaboration tools.
