Overview

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you\'ll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You\'ll be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services, as a Delivery Consultant you will be proficient in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. As trusted advisors to our customers, you will provide guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions, and you will be responsible for leading the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project. The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We work together with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team provides assistance through a collection of offerings which help customers achieve specific outcomes related to enterprise cloud adoption. We also deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices, which cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries. Responsibilities

Drive significantly complex technical initiatives and strategic business transformations across industries and market segments Lead the creation and delivery of novel technical services, capabilities, or industry-level solutions used globally Identify patterns across customers and develop new architectural patterns and design principles that become industry standards Cultivate strategic relationships with senior leaders and serve as a trusted advisor on transformative initiatives Drive strategic sales opportunities from inception to closure at the executive level Create scalable mechanisms and lead new initiatives that transform how customers adopt cloud technologies Provide widely recognized thought leadership through industry presentations and executive engagements Mentor and develop leaders while growing a culture of collaboration, empathy, and inclusion Balance risk and quality while creating mechanisms to address recurring escalation patterns About the Team and AWS

Basic Qualifications

10+ years experience in cloud architecture, migrations, modernization, and implementation Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; Master\'s degree preferred 10+ years experience in enterprise cloud transformation initiatives involving C-suite executives with at least 5 enterprise cloud transformation initiatives from Telco, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Energy, or Retail/CPG 10+ years experience implementing at least 3 technology solutions in one or more domains that delivered minimum 15% cost reduction or $5M+ annual revenue growth: Cloud Migration Strategy and Business Value Alignment, Enterprise Transformation, Cloud Operating Models & Governance, Data & AI Transformation Led a minimum of 3 cross-functional teams of 10+ members each, managing complex programs spanning at least 2 distinct organizations per program, within the past 5 years Preferred Qualifications

PhD or Masters of Science in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience Knowledge of AWS platform and tools, ideally with AWS experience across a broad range of services (e.g., SageMaker, Bedrock, EMR, S3, OpenSearch, Step Functions, Lambda, EC2) AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, Machine Learning Specialty) preferred Hands-on experience with deep learning (CNN, RNN, LSTM, Transformer), machine learning, CV, GNN, or distributed training Experience with Data Analytics, Data Engineering, coding, automation and scripting (e.g., Terraform, Python) Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. The base pay for this position ranges from $164,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $284,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
