A key member of the GBMC HealthCare system executive team, the General Counsel & Vice President for Legal Services will report directly to the President and CEO and will lead overall management of legal affairs for the healthcare system, to include, but not be limited to : Managing litigation Conducting transactions and negotiations that significantly impact the objectives and operating results of the organization. Provide advice on regulatory, corporate governance & all other legal matters. Engage and manage outside legal counsel, if needed, for special legal projects. Provide leadership to the Legal and Corporate Compliance Staff. Demonstrate ethics and integrity at all times Engender trust through ability to communicate and negotiate for constructive resolutions.
