Responsibilities
Provide engineering support for Navy or joint technical programs as part of a highly technical, dynamic, experimental, and fast-paced Navy program management office (PMO) SETA team.
Apply your technical understanding of Naval targeting, sensor fusion, and weapons employment to support the government with strategic direction and technical expertise to develop and employ new Naval warfighting capabilities.
Act as the government’s representative on technical and programmatic discussions with external stakeholders; identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, and processes with confidence, experience, and professionalism.
Guide the work for the Navy and Marine Corps and deliver solutions for national defense; expand your systems engineering experience and contribute to solving complex design, integration, and analytical problems for the Fleet.
Qualifications
Experience providing engineering support for Navy or joint technical programs
Experience with Navy or Marine Corps weapons systems, combat and networked systems, surface and air-launched weapons, C4I, sensors, or EW systems
Experience with Navy or Marine Corps combat systems integration or software development
Experience developing or validating system requirements, engineering documents, test plans, performance assessments, or system interoperability
Ability to work onsite to support multiple government and contractor offices
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree
Nice If You Have
Experience with Navy fires, intelligence, or targeting programs
Experience on non-program of record experimental programs such as mid-tier acquisition pathways, rapid capabilities office (RCO), or strategic capabilities office (SCO)
Experience with Navy interface systems such as the Cooperative Engagement Capability or Tactical Digital Information Link (TADIL)
Experience with software engineering, including design, development, testing, integration, or production of advanced software systems
Experience with NAVSEA Combat Systems programs, including PEO IWS
Master’s degree in Data Science or a STEM field
Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
Compensation The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by location, education, experience, and other factors. This posting will close within 90 days from the posting date.
