Job Description Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for an Associate Director, Market Research and Integrated Analytics (MR/IA), Strategic Insights & Analytics (SIA) — PECS, located in Titusville, NJ. This is a hybrid role available in Titusville, NJ. While specific cities are listed in the Locations section for reference, please note that they are examples only and do not limit your application. Purpose The Associate Director, MR/IA, SIA — PECS

is responsible for generating, integrating and translating insights and analytics into growth opportunities that shape decisions and drive organizational action for the Patient Engagement and Customer Solutions (PECS) team supporting CAPLYTA in the Neuroscience franchise. This position will be the main point of contact for the CAPLYTA PECS Marketing team, partnering with cross-functional teams within Strategy, Analytics, and Transformation (StAT) and the PECS organization to identify opportunities to enhance Patient Experience (Px). Specifically, they will lead market research and analytics efforts to assess and measure Px program effectiveness, while uncovering new insights to increase patient fulfillment and adherence. The position plays a key role in advising leadership and guiding the business in the development and evaluation of new and existing strategies and tactics and as a result, shares accountability for business results. The individual must have exceptional leadership skills, having demonstrated the ability to clearly and concisely deliver insights, lead collaboration across teams, inspire without authority, and encourage smart risk-taking. They will be personally accountable for making Credo-based decisions and encouraging a Credo-based culture.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as market research, competitive intelligence, and integrated analytics SIA lead for CAPLYTA identifying, crafting, and completing projects for the PECS organization which inform strategy and tactics

Develop research and analytics plans that address brand key business questions

Develop and deliver standard PECS performance tracking reports

Provide input into PECS performance dashboard development and ongoing enhancements

Integrate market research, competitive intelligence, and analytical insights to build a comprehensive understanding of market dynamics and unmet needs to shape and refine patient and customer focused solutions across PECS

Understand the post-script patient journey in CAPLYTA relevant disease areas and define market research and data strategies to support business needs while minimizing friction for the patient

Collaborate across SIA teams to integrate customer experiences insights across functional and therapeutics areas

Deliver actionable recommendations that influence business partners at all levels to incorporate in decision making

Present complex issues clearly and persuasively to cross-functional teams and brand teams

Determine optimal market research and analytics approaches, identify internal and external partners, and develop strong partnerships within resources, timing, and business goals

Champion the development and implementation of patient analytics approaches and methods that are innovative and drive efficiencies

Demonstrate leadership courage to set priorities and focus resources on high value projects

Drive a culture of simplicity within the SIA PECS function to ensure actionable insights are delivered in a timely manner

Act as a mentor/coach to develop other SIA PECS team members

Stay abreast of emerging healthcare and pharmaceutical industry trends and assess their potential impact on CAPLYTA patient support strategies

Act with speed, agility and accountability

Qualifications / Requirements

BA/BS required, advanced degree desirable

Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant business experience

Current or previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry, including knowledge of pharma datasets, is required

Proven success partnering cross-functionally to integrate analytics and insights and translate into actionable recommendations

Comfort in storytelling and developing effective presentations through compelling visualizations of data with comprehensive and impactful recommendations

Knowledge across a broad spectrum of market research and analytical approaches and ability to identify appropriate approaches to address key business questions

Demonstrated ability to operate with autonomy and integrity to define key business questions with focused research and analytical solutions

Preferred

Proven analytical skills and learning agility to coach and train colleagues across functions

Knowledge of patient data sources and experience conducting patient-level analytics

Other This position will be located in Titusville, NJ and will require up to 10% domestic travel.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: 120,000 – 207,000

Additional Description for Pay Transparency: Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
