Lark is looking to hire a talented Data Business Analyst to join our growing Product team. The Business Analyst sits at the intersection of business strategy, client requirements, and data delivery, collaborating with the Product team, Data Science team, and technical data teams to ensure our health coaching platform delivers reliable, tailored, and impactful reporting to clients. Triage and Prioritize Requests: Evaluate and prioritize external data requests, bridging business and technical teams. Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical/data teams with a strong understanding of data architecture, pipelines, and analytics. Proactive Risk Management: Identify and manage data-related risks, collaborating with Security and Data Governance teams to manage privacy, integration, and delivery risks. Requirements Translation: Convert business and client needs into clear specifications and user stories for data/analytics engineers, data scientists, and analysts. Data Collection Strategy Alignment: Work with Product, Data Science, and Analytics teams to align reporting designs and upstream data collection with strategic objectives and scalable needs. Quality Assurance & Iteration: Review outputs for accuracy and relevance, iterating based on client feedback to meet value requirements. Partner File Specifications: Develop and maintain partner file specifications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client expectations. Business Needs Discovery: Identify high-level data needs and, with the Product Manager, define solutions and measurable success criteria. Continuous Feedback & Improvement: Gather feedback from clients and internal teams to drive reporting enhancements and usability improvements. What You’ll Need
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in client-focused, data-driven environments (healthcare, wellness, or highly regulated industries preferred) Strong understanding of data flows, reporting systems, and the data lifecycle from collection through delivery Ability to translate business needs into scalable, measurable reporting solutions Experience defining metrics and success criteria for data products or reports Strong requirements elicitation, documentation, and communication skills Ability to collaborate with Product, Delivery, and Engineering/Data teams Experience working in agile or hybrid delivery environments Familiarity with healthcare data privacy and compliance (HIPAA, GDPR) is a plus Working at Lark
