OSINT Intelligence Analyst - National Security (TS/SCI) TRM Labs is a blockchain intelligence company committed to fighting crime and creating a safer world. By leveraging blockchain data, threat intelligence, and advanced analytics, our products empower governments, financial institutions, and crypto businesses to combat illicit activity and global security threats. At TRM, you'll join a mission-driven, fast-paced team made up of experts in law enforcement, data science, engineering, and financial intelligence, tackling complex global challenges daily. You will collaborate with investigators, engineers, and product managers to develop and validate cutting-edge open-source intelligence capabilities for TRM’s products and services and to design and execute realistic, high-impact investigation scenarios addressing real-world national security needs.

Responsibilities

Develop realistic, diverse, and challenging OSINT investigation scenarios that reflect real-world use cases.

Identify relevant data sources (open web, social media, public records, etc.) for each investigation.

Work closely with developers and product managers to communicate investigation results and user needs.

Monitor emerging OSINT techniques, tools, and data sources to keep scenarios and methodologies current.

Qualifications

Proven OSINT expertise — demonstrated ability to plan and execute complex OSINT investigations across multiple domains, with experience identifying and leveraging diverse open-source data sources.

Tool evaluation and technical fluency — hands-on experience assessing OSINT platforms or investigative tools, including extraction, processing, and visualization capabilities for entities and relationships.

Analytical and reporting skills — strong written communication for documenting investigation steps, findings, and actionable recommendations, including summarizing technical insights for non-technical audiences.

Collaboration and stakeholder engagement — track record of working cross-functionally with technical teams and product managers, contributing ideas, and incorporating feedback to improve workflows and features.

Adaptability to evolving threats — curiosity and ability to stay current with emerging OSINT techniques, tools, and trends, and to adapt scenarios and methods to shifting operational landscapes.

AI/LLM fluency — familiarity with leveraging artificial intelligence and large language models for OSINT workflows, including prompt engineering, automated entity extraction, and integrating AI-assisted analysis into investigative processes.

Active TS/SCI clearance required (Polygraph or willingness to upgrade strongly preferred).

Location: up to 50% onsite presence with the remaining time remote.
