Location: Boston, MA About Data Science Group The Data Science division is the epicenter of business intelligence, uncovering impactful insights that put Aramark clients in the sports and entertainment industry ahead of the curve. Using leading-edge technology and analytics, Data Science synthesizes operational and consumer data to optimize strategies that enhance the guest hospitality experience and blaze a trail for innovation. Responsibilities
Leverage consumer analytics to understand customer purchasing behavior across Aramark’s Sports + Entertainment venues in the Boston district, supporting Fenway Park, MGM Music Hall at Fenway, Citizens House of Blues Boston, and JetBlue Park. Analyze business performance data from sources including labor tracking, Point of Sale, and inventory management systems to identify opportunities to improve operations and recommend data-driven action plans. Present data insights to senior management and clients, clearly telling the data story and providing actionable recommendations. Lead the creation and development of key performance reporting for multiple stakeholders including the Aramark operations team and clients. Identify opportunities to create and meet consumer demand. Collaborate with internal and external partners to pilot concepts to enhance customer experience across venues. Partner with clients on hospitality research across premium, suites, and concessions consumers. Generate ad-hoc analyses to measure short-term strategy outcomes; work with cross-functional teams to define insights and analytics required to measure success. Innovate to streamline data collection and synthesis by improving business processes and organization. Design compelling data visualizations and reports to effectively present complex data insights to stakeholders and clients. Manage and mentor a team of data analysts, overseeing project deliverables and fostering a culture of data-driven decision making. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting, Finance, or another scientific discipline; Master’s degree is a plus but not required. Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in an analytical function preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interface with multiple levels of management. Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills. Analytical mindset with curiosity to explore data and find new solutions. Ability to effectively communicate findings, implications, and recommendations to varied stakeholder audiences. Moderate experience with SQL, Python, or R for data manipulation. Familiarity with AI in a business context and curiosity to explore emerging AI technologies. Proven ability to lead and develop a team of data analysts. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience developing in BI tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus. About Aramark Our mission is rooted in service and united by purpose.
