Vaco has partnered with a Phoenix based client to support key projects in their technology group. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Security/Infrastructure Engineer to lead and support security and infrastructure hardening initiatives across a complex, enterprise retail environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience implementing Palo Alto and host-based firewall policies (default deny) across ~450 servers, enforcing Active Directory and VMware ESXi hardening standards, and driving Palo Alto rule hygiene and best practice remediation. We are looking for strong engineers that can support these initiatives and blend into a great team and organization. Implement and manage firewall policies, including Palo Alto and host-based default deny configurations. Harden Active Directory, Windows Server (2016-2022), and VMware ESXi environments. Maintain Palo Alto firewall rule hygiene and apply best practice updates. Automate tasks and remediation workflows using PowerShell. Manage and optimize SIEM tools to enhance threat visibility and response. Additional skills

Strong Windows Server administration (2016-2022). Azure environment experience, including identity and infrastructure integration. Advanced PowerShell scripting for automation and system management. Compensation and Benefits Disclosures
