We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled HVAC Service Technician to join our growing team.
*Position Overview:* As an HVAC Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential and light commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, excellent customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality service. Please note: we do not have our Techs sell!
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation systems. * Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, and replacing filters. * Install HVAC systems and components, ensuring proper operation and compliance with local codes. * Provide exceptional customer service, educating clients on system maintenance, energy-saving tips, and product recommendations. * Accurately complete service records, invoices, and other required documentation. * Collaborate with the team to resolve complex technical issues and improve processes. * Respond to emergency service calls as needed, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
*Qualifications:*
* Minimum 3 years of experience as an HVAC Service Technician. * Valid HVAC certification (EPA 608 certification, state or local licensure as required). * Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical components, and troubleshooting techniques. * Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. * Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. * Clean driving record and reliable transportation. * Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in varying conditions.
*Preferred:*
* Experience with light commercial HVAC systems. * Familiarity with smart thermostats, zoning systems, and energy-efficient products. * Additional certifications (e.g., NATE, OSHA).
