Overview Senior Python ML/AI Software Engineer at a seed-funded AI/ML SaaS startup building an AI platform that creates software for major customers, including telecom and IT corporations. Base pay range $160,000.00/yr - $220,000.00/yr Location: New York City, NY (onsite 2-3 days/week) Responsibilities Backend development and system architecture for scalable ML/AI platforms. Code optimization and performance tuning. LLM prompt engineering and integration into production systems. Collaborate with data scientists to translate models into robust software products. Contribute to system design, data flows, and APIs supporting AI workloads. Qualifications 5-8 years of hands-on experience with Python and libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and scikit-learn (SciKitLearn). Experience with machine learning, AI, and large-scale data processing. BSCS or advanced degree preferred. Experience in a fast-paced startup environment. Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
