You will be a mentor to team members, driving full adoption of modern software engineering and delivery practices (Agile, BDD, Stateless Design, Microservices, Containerization, etc.). Your Impact: Writing well designed, testable, and efficient code by using best software development practices. Develop automation scripts using Ansible and/or Python to streamline provisioning, configuration, and monitoring tasks. Enhancing current automations, controls and development processes Automating testing and validation of various tech stacks. Integrating data from various back-end services and databases. Documenting Requirements, Architecture, & Design for the various applications. Documenting and working with end users to perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Working with Change Management and Deployment teams to promote changes into production environment. Automating the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) process for our Applications Develop automated testing for our Applications Qualifications: Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant IT experience Experienced in developing automation scripts using Ansible and/or Python to streamline provisioning, configuration, and monitoring tasks. Proficiency in multiple programming languages (C#, Java, Python, YML, Perl, Shell scripting, Node.js, etc.) Experience with build automation tools such as Jenkins and build pipelines API Development/Use SOAP/REST Web Services ServiceNow Development Experience SharePoint Development Experience Experience with build automation tools such as Jenkins and build pipelines Practical experience with a CMDB, ServiceNow, Control-M, Autosys, BladeLogic is a plus Understanding of ITIL Design, Transition, Operations, and Continual Service Improvement High Level Understanding of the following Infrastructure: Middleware: Apache, Tomcat, Weblogic, WebMethods Databases: Oracle, Sybase, DB2, UDB, MS SQL Physical & Virtual Servers DFS, NAS, SAN Storage AWS Architecture/Development Experience Web Development experience using HTML/CSS/SQL/JavaScript Frameworks (Angular, Bootstrap, JQuery) Concepts of Cloud Services Keys to Success in this Role: Excellent collaborator and partner Good communication skills. Time-type:Full time FLSA Status:Exempt Freddie Mac offers a comprehensive total rewards package to include competitive compensation and market-leading benefit programs. Information on these benefit programs is available on our Careers site. This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $122,000 - $184,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
