Overview Altamira Technologies is seeking Senior Software Engineers to join our world-class Space Systems engineering team in Denver, CO. The candidate should have a good foundation in object-oriented software development and be experienced in a Linux/UNIX environment. The candidate should have a demonstrable understanding of software principles, theories, and concepts related to software engineering (including software development lifecycle and software development process), design patterns, and object-oriented analysis, design, and programming. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance. Responsibilities Develop high-performance software solutions in Java and/or C++ for complex systems. Develop in a Java environment with experience in TypeScript, Spring Boot, React or Vue. Work with NoSQL databases and API design/development in Java, Go, or Rust (Java preferred). Develop serverless and/or containerized software, and implement automated testing. Participate in CI/CD practices and Agile development teams. Collaborate in a software development environment that uses continuous integration with automated tests. Qualifications Experience with Java and/or C++ for high-performance systems. Experience developing complex software solutions in Java. Typescript, Spring Boot, React or Vue. NoSQL databases. API design and development in Java, Go, or Rust (Java preferred). Experience with serverless and/or containerized software. Automated testing and CI/CD. Experience in Agile development teams and working with CI methodologies and automated tests. Education & Experience Requirements 8-12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree (STEM fields: Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics). 4-8 years of relevant experience with a Masters degree (STEM fields: Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics). In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for these positions is $90,000 to $225,000. However, Altamira Technologies Corporation considers multiple variables when determining compensation, including but not limited to the level of responsibilities, prior work experience, education/certifications, customer contractual specifications, and any clearance requirements.
