Product Engineering: Responsible for engineering Disney Entertainment & ESPN digital and streaming products and platforms, including media engineering, quality assurance, personalization, commerce, lifecycle, and identity. Media Engineering: Builds software and systems that prepare media content and metadata for the Disney streaming platform, providing the best playback experience. Handles content from ingest to publish, supporting scalable workflows and optimizing playback across our stack. Job Summary: As a Video Engineer for the Media Player Engineering team, you will help deliver a best-in-class video experience on browsers and connected devices, pushing the boundaries of what is technically possible with exciting content. Were looking for a Software Engineer II proficient in JavaScript, with deep knowledge of browser API standards and optimization tactics. For NYC/Seattle, its $120,300$161,300; for Morrisville, $109,400$146,700, based on a 40-hour week. Actual offers depend on experience, location, and other factors.
