Summary for Part-Time Customer Service Representative: Engage in various teller and customer service tasks as needed. Proficient in processing teller transactions and assisting with customer service needs, such as opening checking and savings accounts. Work within established guidelines to sell and service all deposit accounts, address customer inquiries, and provide effective problem resolution. Demonstrate a strong understanding of the bank's deposit and electronic banking products and services. Utilize needs-based sales techniques to uncover and recommend suitable products to meet customer needs. Job Requirements for Part-Time Customer Service Representative: At least one year of experience in a teller or customer service role within a banking environment. Excellent sales, service, interpersonal, and communication skills. Enjoy collaborating with a diverse group of people in a team-oriented environment. Strong organizational, technical, and computer skills. Ability to adapt to change and multitask effectively. Solid understanding of customer service processes, policies, and procedures. Knowledge of banking products, with a willingness to learn more. Specific Job Functions for Part-Time Customer Service Representative: Expert in processing various teller transactions and routine customer service tasks. Identify cross-sell opportunities while addressing customer inquiries to recommend appropriate solutions. Assist with opening deposit accounts, electronic banking inquiries, and account maintenance. Maintain and balance a cash drawer accurately and efficiently. Provide exceptional service to customers and team members. Comprehend and adhere to policies, guidelines, and procedures, including security and compliance. Participate in ongoing training programs related to sales, service, compliance, and product knowledge. Perform additional duties as assigned.
