Sort and Package Fresh Food Donations for Hungry Families

We distribute fresh wholesome grocery bags to about 500 families each week. Help sort and package vegetables, bread, fruit, eggs, meat, etc. so that we can offer only the best to recipient families. Involves some counting and weighing, sorting and choosing. In an atmosphere of friendly, hard-working volunteers. Help prevent hunger. Mostly standing. Inspect food donations. Choose the best and freshest. Repackage as needed. Since we work from about 10:00 a.m. to 1:30 or 2:00 p.m.. most Mondays and Wednesdays, you can pick any 2-3 hour period during that time that works for your schedule. 3 shifts available: Mondays or Wednesdays; Shift times can be adjusted.: 10:00 to 12:30 EST shifts are flexible.: 12:00 to 14:00 EST Mondays or Wednesdays, especially need help Mondays.
