Kiona Foundation
Overview
The Email Marketing Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the mission of the Kiona Foundation. This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking work in pediatric cancer research, family support, and community engagement. Volunteers in this role will work closely with a passionate and committed team to advance the Foundation’s strategic priorities.
Time Commitment
Expected commitment is 3-5 hrs/week, with flexibility based on availability and project needs. This is a remote volunteer position unless otherwise specified. Key Responsibilities
* Write, format, and schedule targeted email campaigns using Mailchimp, including newsletters, donor appeals, event invitations, and research updates.
Segment mailing lists by interest group (e.g., Coins for Carly supporters, ECS research subscribers, monthly donors) to personalize outreach.
Develop automated workflows (welcome sequences, donor retention emails, post-event thank-you messages).
Track open rates, CTRs, and audience growth, providing monthly performance reports and optimization recommendations.
