one required onsite day per month in Thousand Oaks, CA ; candidates must reside in
Los Angeles or Ventura County . Must be able to report onsite for emergency coverage if systems go down.

Summary of the Role
Join a
large biotech pharmaceutical leader
as an Associate supporting Clinical Supply Chain. You will help ensure global distribution of clinical drug product, coordinate with internal partners and clinical sites, troubleshoot distribution issues, and maintain compliance with quality and regulatory standards. The role suits a customer-focused, organized communicator skilled in Outlook-driven workflows, with interest in air freight, process improvement, and digital tools. Training on Quality Management Tracking Systems (QMTS) will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Provide distribution support to Global Supply Planners and Logistics Service Providers
Create and manage clinical drug shipments in ERP systems (e.g., SAP); generate customs invoices, track and trace, and close Proof of Receipt
Support reconciliation and return of investigational products
Review shipment temperature data; assess excursions with Quality; communicate impacts to study teams and site pharmacy staff
Capture KPIs, analyze trends, and support corrective actions
Partner with clinical site staff and Quality to document, investigate, and communicate distribution complaints
Participate in cross-functional meetings and support initiatives to improve distribution capabilities
Required Experience & Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams)
Experience with supply chain systems and quality tracking tools (ERP such as SAP; exposure to QMTS a plus; training provided)
Working knowledge of clinical supply chain logistics with an
air freight focus
Strong organization, attention to detail, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Smartsheet and SharePoint knowledge
Familiarity with GMP and quality processes
Exposure to process improvement, digital innovation, or AI tools
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain preferred; open to motivated entry-level and seasoned professionals with stable work history
