Project Management Director, Retail Merchandising & Marketing

Overview
Level is looking for a Director of Project Management to join our team and support a key consumer electronics client. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner between clients and agency teams and serve as the delivery lead for a portfolio of high-impact retail merchandising projects, ensuring that merchandising strategies align with brand objectives and are flawlessly implemented across a complex landscape of product categories and retail environments. Responsibilities
Manage and oversee all aspects of project delivery to ensure planograms are accurately implemented and maintained while delivered on time for launches or deadlines and exceed client expectations. Independently lead a large portfolio of concurrent retail merchandising projects and understand the strategic nuances of each product and program. Develop comprehensive program plans by taking into account complex dependencies and potential conflicts, visualize roadmaps, and align resources against project requirements. Understand client strategies, drive scope prioritization, and respond with flexibility and momentum. Define, document and optimize process innovations to drive efficiencies and learnings; adopt automation and embrace tools to streamline efficiency. Anticipate, identify, and communicate program risks and proactively offer solutions to mitigate challenges. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage high-volume creation, review, production, and delivery of data and creative assets within tight deadlines. Qualifications
7+ years of project management experience in an advertising agency environment managing high-volume delivery of creative assets. Experience leading geographically distributed project management teams. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to manage, lead, and influence clients and global teams. Experience using complex project and workflow tools. Experience developing and managing creative project scopes and timelines, including workflow reviews to resolve issues. Experience in the consumer electronics industry is a plus. Entrepreneurial, go-getter mindset. Experience in retail planning & merchandising is strongly preferred, including familiarity with space planning, store layouts, and QA standards. Additional Information
Base pay range: $144,670.00/yr - $188,025.00/yr Hybrid role based out of San Francisco office; onsite approximately 3 days/week. Bay Area candidates preferred.
