What We Are Looking For CoStar is seeking a Senior Product Manager to continue our momentum of rapid growth.

In this role, you will spearhead the development of the product roadmap and delivery of new product features and enhancements across our suite of Leasing Products. This includes defining and documenting user stories, writing & reviewing acceptance criteria, development resource management, and scheduling. You’ll also be responsible for user testing, working with our Marketing team to develop collateral and other materials for product launch, and executing thoughtful roll-out strategies. This position is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join a great team serving an exciting, evolving industry as part of a leading global organization.

This position is located in Richmond, VA and is in office Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Organize user testing, collect feedback and translate into actionable development priorities.

Plan and execute product/feature deployments to our large subscriber base.

Use customer data and usage analytics to inform product opportunities and evaluate results.

Leverage market and customer insights to build creative products that enhance CoStar customers’ experience and provide tools for better business decisions.

Own the product roadmap from inception through release of new features and enhancements.

Drive product releases in a fast-paced Agile software development environment, including writing user stories, prioritizing releases, maintaining a roadmap and backlog, and creating release notes.

Collaborate with senior executives, UI design, engineering, QA, marketing and sales to deliver products and plans that meet ambitious usage and revenue expectations.

Understand and analyze customer needs and communicate them to the team to build key use cases.

Basic Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College.

8+ years of Product Management or Leasing experience with a proven track record delivering industry-leading products and solutions.

Operational experience in the Commercial Real Estate space.

Familiarity with the needs and demands of those working in commercial real estate.

Dedication to understanding user needs through research, feedback, and data analysis, with a focus on delivering value and enhancing the user experience.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer support, to drive product development and adoption.

Experience managing sprint schedules and resources in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Experience shaping and executing product or data strategy for a SaaS information product, real estate products or similar product presenting business information, reporting and analytics.

Action-oriented self-starter who can set strategy and drive execution with a hands-on approach.

Deeply analytical with the ability to process data to make decisions, with a bias toward digging into details.

Creative problem-solver and conceptual thinker with the ability to balance detail-oriented and analytical issues.

Clear communicator who can communicate across all levels, including executive teams, clients, and external stakeholders.

Fast learner with a track record of adapting to new industries.

A history of commitment to prior employers.
