The Cloud Access Gateways (CAG) team, within Traffic Engineering, is revolutionizing how Amazon services connect with the cloud. We build industry-leading solutions that simplify internet ingress, service connectivity, and cloud access experiences. Our infrastructure processes requests per minute at scale through three key areas: OPF (Internet Ingress Gateway and reverse proxy), Cross-Region Access Gateways (seamless cross-region connectivity), and Cloud Access Builder Experience (service orchestration and onboarding). We are seeking an exceptional Sr Technical Program Manager to provide leadership to critical CAG programs related to Internet Ingress and Networking products. You will partner with peers to innovate, improve protection from malicious internet attacks at massive scale, and ensure secure networking and connectivity. You will also work on making Amazon websites faster by collaborating with business partners to identify new rendering and serving approaches. Technical Leadership & Strategy: Lead complex, multi-team technical initiatives; develop technical roadmaps and architectures; make critical technical decisions and evaluate tradeoffs. Program Management & Execution: Drive large-scale programs across organizations; manage dependencies, risks, and resources; define and track success metrics; coordinate between engineering teams and stakeholders. Strategic Impact & Innovation: Connect technical initiatives to business outcomes; drive operational excellence and best practices; solve complex technical challenges; influence technical direction across organizations. Communication & Stakeholder Management: Present to senior leadership; build consensus across teams; create technical documentation; translate technical concepts for various audiences. Customer & Business Focus: Ensure solutions meet customer needs; manage program budgets and resources; drive cost optimization; balance technical debt with business value. This role requires a combination of deep technical knowledge, strong program management skills, and leadership abilities. Sr TPMs are expected to handle complex technical programs and influence technical direction across the organization. Basic Qualifications
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience 5+ years of technical product or program management experience 3+ years of software development experience 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules Preferred Qualifications

The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market.
